Squaring Bed

Soft and inviting, the padded Squaring bed offers a wide expanse of tactile luxury. Designed by Guiseppe Vigano, this bed system recalls the uncluttered aesthetics of Japanese style.

Surrounding the mattress are two low cushioned benches for sitting, lounging or displaying objects. Squaring's studied proportions of varied widths and heights create a highly appealing composition. Being fully upholstered on all sides and maintaining a low profile, the bed may be placed in the middle of the room. Height adjustable flexible wood slats support the mattress eliminating the need for a box spring. The quilted covering is completely removable for cleaning and a matching bedspread is included in the bed system. Shown in vibrant orange cotton/viscose/polyester blend fabric, Squaring is also available in 36 colors of softly napped synthetic suede by special order. Low square wood feet are set back beneath the frame to maintain an eastern minimalist platform look. The recessed slats are designed to accommodate standard American eastern king or queen size mattresses. Squaring is composed of four cushioned frame elements and the bed slats; simple assembly is required.
