The surface of the sea is more than twice the size of the land it covers. The sea contains a secret, hidden world which countless species of flora and fauna exist. Algae are a large force in the life and vitality of the planet, responsible for an estimated 73 to 87 percent of the net global production of oxygen. To honor this underwater world, Magniflex has created SeacellEmotion, a mattress whose removable cover contains microscopic particles of marine algae fiber that aid in cellular regeneration. The contact of the skin with algae hinders the formation of free radicals, a molecular process which disturbs normal cellular activity. In addition, marine algae contain important vitamins and minerals, including anti-oxidants, which can be transferred through osmosis. The internal core of SeacellEmotion consists of a layer of Ecogreen between two layers of Geomemory Aloe. A series of grooves and deep channels on both sides of the central EcoGreen layer create air circulation to keep the mattress dry.
The deluxe version is offered in 12" thickness offering both orthopedic support from the EcoGreen layer and anatomic support from the Geomemory Aloe layer. In King and Queen sizes, Magniflex has added its Dualcomfort system, which allows soft and firm cores to be placed side-by-side under the zippered cover. This allows a couple to select and turn the core either to the softer or firmer side, depending on their individual preference.
