Marine Glass Collection Dining Table Deep Sea Blue

Recalling the liquid luminescence of tropical seas, these artisan cast glass tables glow with brilliant color. Each piece is hand forged by pouring molten glass into a shaped mold. Once the glass cools, an artist individually applies genuine gold leaf or silver leaf and colored paints to the bottom of the glass. Rich textural effects are created by the random crinkles in the metal leaf which reflect and refract light. The top surface is polished to a brilliant shine like calm, glassy water.

The two semi-circular glass bases are made in the same way as tops. One surface of the base is polished glass, the reverse side is metallic gold (for the aquamarine color) or silver ( for the deep sea blue color).

The tables are available in several sizes and shapes and a choice of two colors. Additionally, the collection includes matching console tables and mirrors made with the same cast glass technique.

All items in this collection are completely handmade by Italian craftsmen using the age old techniques of master glass makers. Not only do these pieces enliven the home, they are valuable works of art to be treasured for years to come. Made in Italy.
